A suggested best practice delivery model:

  • A BOT can commit to reading 6 Units developmentally.
  • An educational centre commits their whole staff to read all 6 books over a timeframe such as 1 book per term for 6 terms or 3 books per year for 2 years. This updates all staff on accurate NZ histories.
  • Then all staff have to select material from each book for 1 term and plan lessons, units, standards, etc. to teach at their levels.
  • Other delivery models are possible. Schools/Centres can design their own.
